What kind of systems are you able to support?
1337 Technology Solutions is able to support a multitude of different systems. We are familiar with Windows-based systems dating from XP to the most recent Windows 10 operating system. We are able to work on Windows Servers from Windows Server 2008 to the 2016 release. We are knowledgable on all 10 Mac operating systems. We also work on many different Linux distros, including, but not limited to, Red Hat, Debian, Fedora, and Mint.
How fast can I be up and running after a hardware failure?
That depends entirely on what hardware failed and how readily available the part is. Universal hardware such as most desktop power supplies and RAM we keep in stock and can get you up and going within an hour or so. Unfortunately, some other parts (like laptop screens and motherboards) are specific to the model and are not readily available to us. Those parts must be shipped in, though next day shipping is available in most instances.
What kind of third party software do you support?
All kinds! We support Microsoft Office and Outlook, Quickbooks, Salesforce, Aloha, LogicGate, Vendor Management, FreshDesk, and many more. Do you have a specific software you have questions about? Just give us a call or send us an email! We're happy to answer any questions you may have.
Can you gaurantee I'll never get a virus?
1337 Technology Solutions will do everything in its power to ensure your computers are secured and your employees are educated in security. However, it is up to the individual to be watchful of any odd behaviors coming from their systems and to inform the correct people of the oddities.
Can you gaurantee that my network is 100% secure?
Keeping a network secure (just like keeping a computer secure) is a twenty-four hour job. Patches and updates must be run consistently in order to ensure your devices are protected against all the new viruses and malware that are being created everyday. However, sometimes patches do not come out fast enough and a new virus can get into your very secure network. If the unfortunate occurs know that 1337 Technology Solutions will be working hard to remove the virus and erase any damage it might have caused.
I'm experiencing an IT disaster. How fast can my business get back up and running?
That depends entirely on what component has failed and what backup recovery options are available. Ideally, we will be able to get you up and running again in just a few hours. Unfortunately, especially if no recovery options have been put into place, it could be as long as a day or two. No matter what the cause, however, you will have 1337 Technology Solutions working 24/7 to get you back into working order.
